Either there are no hearing aid wearers in Ireland or they are all using rechargeable batteries because I have been unable to find batteries anywhere so far – and I am on day #4 of this trip at present. I noticed that the Tesco, the grocery store that we have visited daily since arriving, did not carry hearing aid batteries or any other drugstore related items – not even Advil. We stopped off at a gas station store and while I was able to purchase everything from chicken wings to a wheelbarrow to a stone grave marker in honor of a loved one that had passed – nary a hearing aid battery to be had. Where are they hiding?? Any guesses??
